Shiv Sainiks disrupt Tezz shoot

The unit of Venus Films' Tezz was in for a shock yesterday when some members from political group Shiv Sena stormed into the sets at Filmistan studios disrupting the shoot for a while. A song sequence featuring Mallika Sherawat was being filmed and Shiv Sainiks were objecting the presence of foreign dancers.
However, the production head explained to them that the foreigners just featured in a couple of shots as the movie is set in London. As promised, the foreigners even left after finishing their bit yesterday afternoon. Post that, the shoot went on smoothly.
Tezz directed by Priyadarshan stars Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Kangna Ranaut, Zayed Khan, Mohanlal and Sameera Reddy. The film is set for an April release.

Ajay Devgn has done some thrilling action sequences in his upcoming release Tezz

The promos of Priyadarshan's slick thriller Tezzhave created quite a buzz. Ajay Devgn and the rest of the cast have performed high-octane action stunts designed by Hollywood power duo Gareth Milne (Bourne Ultimatum and Bourne Identity) and Peter Pedrero (stunt co-ordinator of The Bourne Supremacy and a few action sequences from the Harry Potter series). The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut,Sameera Reddy and Zayed Khan, and has been produced by Ratan Jain. 

Says Devgn, "It's a fabulous mix of international action and Indian emotions. Films work only if they connect with the audience, and Tezz has that emotional element. It has been presented in a very stylised manner with some fabulous action."
